2016年の正式アナウンス以来、プラットフォーマーアクション“Øuroboros”と平行して開発が進められているEdmund McMillen氏とJames Id氏の新作「The Legend of Bum-bo」ですが、新たにEdmund McMillen氏が延期となっていた本作の発売時期をアナウンスし、2018年前半のリリースを予定していることが明らかになりました。

なお、2月には“The Legend of Bum-bo”の続報とティザートレーラーが解禁されるとのこと。

The Binding of IsaacやMeat Boy、Dead Babyシリーズを生んだEdmund McMillen氏の新作“The Legend of Bum-bo”は、ランダム生成要素を特色とするターンベースのパズルRPGで、その詳細は未だ謎に包まれたままですが、Isaacと何らかの関係を持つ作品であることが報じられていました。
