先日、イベントの開幕を祝う初代“Quake”の無料配布が開始され、寄付総額1万ドル突破による“Quake 2”の無料配布が決定していたBethesdaの大規模イベント“QuakeCon at Home”ですが、3日間に及んだイベントが本日無事終了し、最終的に2万8,000ドルを突破したチャリティの成功を祝い、新たにBethesdaが「Quake III Arena」の無料配布を決定したことが明らかになりました。

今のところ、“Quake III Arena”の配布日時を含む詳細は不明ですが、同じく配布が決定済みの“Quake 2”と併せて、まもなくBethesdaランチャー経由で入手可能になるものと思われます。
