本日、Geoff Keighley氏が今年で9回目の開催を迎える年末恒例の大規模イベント「The Game Awards 2022」の放送日をアナウンスし、2022年12月8日の開催を予定していることが明らかになりました。

なお、今年の“The Game Awards”は、ロサンゼルスのマイクロソフト・シアターからライブ中継が実施されるほか、アワードのカテゴリに、ビデオゲームの原作を忠実に脚色したショーや映画、本、ポッドキャスト、コミックに贈られるBest Adaptation部門が新設されるとのこと。

BEST ADAPTATION to recognize outstanding work adapting video game IP to other entertainment forms.
