サバイバルホラーシミュレーション“The Forest”の続編として2019年末にアナウンスされ、当初2022年5月20日を予定していた発売を2022年10月に延期していたEndnight Gamesの新作「Sons of the Forest」ですが、昨晩Endnight Gamesが本作の更なる延期を報告し、新たな発売日を2023年2月23日に変更したことが明らかになりました。

今のところ、延期の具体的な理由は明かされていませんが、Endnight Gamesによると、今回の延期は、ゲームを完璧に仕上げるために、更なる開発期間が必要となったことから決定されたとのこと。

また、本作の価格が29.99ドルに決定したことも併せて報じられています。
