今年1月に、ライターを務めるWarren Ellis氏がシーズン2の今夏放送を予告し話題となったNetflixのアニメシリーズ「悪魔城ドラキュラ ―キャッスルヴァニア―」（Castlevania）ですが、新たに公式Twitterが1枚のティザーイメージを公開。また、アニメーションの制作を手掛けたPowerhouse Animationが、7月7日迎える“悪魔城ドラキュラ ―キャッスルヴァニア―”の配信1周年を祝い、今週後半に何らかの大きな発表を予定していることが明らかになりました。

今のところ発表の詳細は不明ですが、Warren Ellis氏は8エピソード構成のシーズン2が今年後半に放送されると説明しており、近くシーズン2の正式なアナウンスが行われるものと見られています。

アニメ版“悪魔城ドラキュラ ―キャッスルヴァニア―”は、ドラキュラが生きる中世ヨーロッパを舞台に、汚名を負ったベルモント一族の最後の生き残り、トレバー・ベルモントがドラキュラの手から東欧を救う戦いを描くダーク中世ファンタジーで、人気アニメ“アドベンチャー・タイム”のFrederator Studiosが制作を手掛ける作品として注目を集めていました。
