北米セールスの調査を行っているお馴染みNPDグループが2010年の携帯コンソールも含むプラットフォーム別ソフトウェアセールスのトップ10を発表、PS3とXbox 360の両プラットフォームでTreyarchの「Call of Duty: Black Ops」が1位を獲得した事が明らかになりました。他に特徴的な要素としてはXbox 360に専用タイトルが2タイトルしかランク入りしていない事や、PS3とPSPの両方でリリースされたGod of Warフランチャイズがいずれも好調である事が挙げられるでしょうか。

また、任天堂のファーストパーティタイトルの強さが叫ばれて久しい状況が続いていますが、今回のファーストタイトルは3本、一方PS3ではSCEタイトルが2つ、PSPでは4タイトルがSonyの内部スタジオによるタイトルとなっており、任天堂と同様にファーストパーティの力が発揮されつつある状況とも言えそうです。各プラットフォームの詳細については以下からご確認下さい。
