2012年3月の“Baldur’s Gate: Enhanced Edition”と“Baldur’s Gate II: Enhanced Edition”発表直後に「Planescape: Torment」のオーバーホールに意欲を示していたBeamdogですが、昨年末に報じられた未発表のInfinity Engine系新作に対するベータテスター募集のその後に注目が集まるなか、スタジオの公式Twitterと（Planescapeのライセンスを持つ）Wizards of the CoastのDungeons & Dragons‏公式Twitterが奇妙な名称「Plan Escape」を掲げたカウントダウンサイトを紹介。満を持してBeamdogが“Planescape: Torment”のEnhanced Edition開発に着手したのではないかと注目を集めています。

今のところ、“Plan Escape”のドメイン所有者はGoDaddyとなっていることから、カウントダウンの正確な運用者は不明ですが、Beamdogが発言にNamelessの文言を忍ばせ、スタジオのボスTrent Oster氏は“Plan Escape”のドメイン取得をほのめかしており、3日後（日本時間の3月29日[水]午前8時頃）のカウントダウン終了に期待がかかる状況となっています。
