2017年8月の海外PS4/PS Vita版ローンチを経て、昨年6月に未発表のNintendo Switch版がESRBの審査を通過し話題となった2004年版“The Bard’s Tale”の現世代リマスター「The Bard’s Tale ARPG: Remastered and Resnarkled」ですが、新たにInXileが本作のNintendo SwitchとXbox One対応を正式にアナウンスし、2020年6月18日の海外ローンチを予定していることが明らかになりました

また、発表に併せて、リマスター版のゲームプレイを紹介するアナウンストレーラーが登場しています。

海外Xbox版“The Bard’s Tale ARPG: Remastered and Resnarkled”は、Xbox Play Anywhere（Xbox One/Windows 10）とXbox Game Passに対応するほか、Nintendo Switch版はXboxネットワーク機能の統合を特色としています。
