先日、ドラマ版の製作再開に関する最新のスケジュールが報じられたドラマ「ウィッチャー」ですが、新たにNetflixがアニメに続く新たなスピンオフ「The Witcher: Blood Origin」を発表。なんと、原作から1,200年前の世界を舞台に、初代ウィッチャーの誕生を描く実写ドラマの製作を進めていることが明らかになりました。

“The Witcher: Blood Origin”は、6エピソードの実写スピンオフシリーズで、今のところ公開時期やキャストに関する詳細は不明ながら、製作はお馴染みLauren Schmidt Hissrich氏とDeclan de Barra氏が率いており、原作者であるアンドレイ・サプコフスキの協力を得ているほか、モンスターと人間、エルフの世界が融合した“天体の合”によってウィッチャーが誕生する経緯を描くことが判明しています。
