昨年9月、“Painkiller”の精神を継ぐダークファンタジーFPS“Witchfire”の早期アクセスローンチを果たし、コンテンツの拡張と改善に取り組んでいるポーランドのデベロッパ「The Astronauts」ですが、新たにスタジオの公式Twitterが元CD PROJEKT REDのベテランRafał Jaki氏の参加を報告。スタジオのパブリッシング/ビジネス開発ディレクターに就任したことが明らかになりました。

Rafał Jaki氏は、ウィッチャーやグウェント、サイバーパンク2077の開発に貢献し、サイバーパンク エッジランナーズの製作総指揮兼ショーランナー、Witcher: Roninのライターとして活躍したベテランで、2022年5月のCD PROJEKT RED退社後は、Techlandでビジネス開発とフランチャイズ部門のシニアディレクターを務めていました。

The Astronautsは、Rafał Jaki氏が“Witchfire”でもクリエイティブな才能を発揮してくれると伝えており、氏の参加がどんな影響をもたらすか、“Witchfire”とスタジオの今後に改めて期待が掛かるところです。
