先日、日本語版の発売日がアナウンスされ、海外版と同日ローンチを果たすことが判明した人気シリーズ最新作「Gears 5」ですが、9月10日の発売と9月6日の早期アクセス解禁が迫るなか、先ほどThe CoalitionがXbox Wireを更新し、本作のゴールドを報告。ナンバリングの製品版が遂に完成したことが明らかになりました。

また、gamescomの開幕に併せて放送されるInside Xboxにて、新たなHordeモードがお披露目されるほか、Geoff Keighley氏がホストを務める“gamescom: Opening Night Live”にて、ストーリートレーラーのワールドプレミアを予定していることが判明しています。（Inside Xboxの放送は8月19日CEST午後5時/PDT午前8時、日本時間の8月20日午前0時から、gamescom: ONLの放送は日本時間の8月20日午前3時から）
