昨年8月のローンチを経て、今年4月下旬に第1弾コンテンツアップデート“Relics of the Old Faith”の配信が開始されたMassive Monsterの可愛いカルト教団運営ゲーム「Cult of the Lamb」ですが、今年1月にアナウンスされ、今年中頃の配信を予定していた第2弾コンテンツアップデートの続報が待たれるなか、本作の公式Xが最新の進捗を報告し、第2弾コンテンツアップデートの配信時期を今年後半に延期したことが明らかになりました。

現時点で延期の背景は不明ですが、公式Xは何らかのサプライズが控えていると伝えており、さらなる続報に期待が掛かる状況となっています。

なお、今年1月のロードマップ発表時には、第2弾コンテンツアップデート向けの新要素として、教団運営の拡張をはじめ、追加のストーリー要素、さらなるカスタマイズ、アクセシビリティ設定の拡張、その他の改善を導入することが報じられていました。
