現在ラスベガスで開催されているのゲーム開発者の祭典D.I.C.E. Summitにおいてゲーム界のアカデミー賞とされている”13th Annual Interactive Achievement Awards”の各賞受賞作品が発表され、先日同アワードにおいて過去最多となる15の賞にノミネートされた事をお伝えした「Uncharted 2: Among Thieves」が最優秀のOverall Game of the Yearを始め、アニメーション、ゲームプレイ、エンジニアリング、アートなどなど、ほぼ総なめと言える10の賞を獲得した事が明らかになりました。

また、革新的なゲームとポータブルゲームの2部門で「Scribblenauts」が受賞、マックスウェルくんおめでとう！！そしてパイオニア賞にピットフォールや懐かしいメガCDのナイトトラップなどを手掛けたDavid Crane氏が、そして功労賞的なLifetime Achievement AwardにESRBのレーティングや巨大ゲームイベントE3の運営を行うESAのDoug Lowenstein会長が選ばれています。

各賞はゲーム業界のスペシャリストであるAcademy of Interactive Arts ＆ Sciencesのメンバーによって投票が行われ、その年に最も素晴らしい功績を残した作品に贈られます。各賞の詳細は以下をご覧ください。
