イギリスのブライトンで13日から開催されているDevelopが主催するカンファレンスイベント”Develop in Brighton“にてDevelop Awardsの発表が行われ、「Heavy Rain」を手がけたQuantic Dreamが”Best New IP”や”Independent Studio”などを受賞しました。また、「Batman: Arkham Asylum」の開発を行ったRocksteadyも”Best Use of a Licence or IP”、”In-House Studio”など複数の賞を獲得した事が明らかになりました。

その他の賞からは、近年その力を確実に増しつつある開発環境”Unity Engine”が開発者から高い評価を得ている事も強く感じられ興味深いところ。なお、受賞リストの詳細は以下のようになっています。
