16日にラスベガスのマンダレイ・ベイ・コンベンションセンターで開幕を迎えた“2016 D.I.C.E. Summit”にて、本日第19回「D.I.C.E. Awards 2016」の授賞式が開催され、“Lifetime Achievement Award”（特別功労賞）に選出された故岩田聡氏の表彰や小島監督の殿堂入りと共に、全22部門の受賞作品が決定。Bethesda Game Studiosの人気シリーズ最新作「Fallout 4」が見事今年のGOTYを獲得したことが明らかになりました。

なお、今年は“Fallout 4”がGOTYを含む3部門を見事制したほか、“The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt”と“Ori and the Blind Forest”が同じく3部門、さらにお馴染み“Rocket League”がなんと3部門ノミネートで3部門受賞を果たし、4つの傑作が共に最多受賞を果たす非常に興味深い結果となっています。
