昨年12月上旬に開催されたVGXを筆頭に、世界中の大小様々なメディアが2013年のベストを決める各種アワードを開催していますが、例年各所のGOTYを含むアワードの受賞状況を専門にまとめている“Game of The Year Picks Blog”が今年のGOTY集計を続けており、現在約420メディアの状況がまとめられた段階で、Naughty Dogの新たな傑作となった「The Last of Us」のGOTY獲得が実に204にも及んでいることが明らかになりました。

また、「Grand Theft Auto V」や「BioShock Infinite」、「Gone Home」といった2013年を代表する新作のGOTY獲得状況についても興味深いデータが浮上しています。
