2月3日から5日に掛けて、ラスベガスで開催される今年の“D.I.C.E. Summit”にて授賞式が行われる「D.I.C.E Awards 2015」の部門別ノミネート作品が本日アナウンスされ、各方面で高い評価を獲得したMonolith Productionsの新作“Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor”がGOTY入りを含む最多9部門ノミネートを果たしたことが明らかになりました。

また、何れもGOTYノミネートを果たした“Destiny”と“Far Cry 4”、“Hearthstone”が“Shadow of Mordor”に次いで6部門ノミネートを記録しており、来る授賞式の開催に注目が集まる状況となっています。（※ 去年は“The Last of Us”が12部門/13ノミネートを記録し、GOTYを含む10部門を制覇）
