現在、ケルンで開催中の大規模イベント“gamescom 2016”ですが、本日gamescom会場のソーシャルメディアステージにて、“gamescom Award 2016”の授賞式が開催され、73作品に及ぶノミネートの中から、人気シリーズ最新作「ゼルダの伝説 ブレス オブ ザ ワイルド」が見事総合ベストである“Best of gamescom”とWii U部門を制したことが明らかになりました。

また、「Battlefield 1」がコンシューマー部門とベストアクション部門で2冠を達成したほか、「Final Fantasy XV」がベストRPG部門を受賞し、「Mafia III」がベストブースに選出、Ubisoftの剣戟アクション「For Honor」がベストPS4とベストPC部門、Rareの新作「Sea of Thieves」がベストXbox Oneとマルチプレイヤー部門でそれぞれ2冠を果たすなど、興味深い部門別の受賞結果が報じられています。
