先ほど、Quantic Dreamの代表作である“Heavy Rain”と“Beyond: Two Souls”、“Detroit Become Human”の期間限定先行販売に関する話題をご紹介した「Epic Gamesストア」ですが、昨晩の基調講演では、さらなる独占タイトルがアナウンスされ、黄金コンビTim Cain氏とLeonard Boyarsky氏が開発を率いるObsidianとPrivate Divisionの期待作「The Outer World」を筆頭に、Frogwaresファン待望の“クトゥルフ”オープンワールドホラー「The Sinking City」、Remedy初のマルチプラットフォームタイトルとなる「Control」、X-Comの父Julian Gollop氏が開発を率いる新作Sci-Fiストラテジー「Phoenix Point」、Assassin’s Creedシリーズの成功を支えたPatrice Desilets氏率いるPanache Digital Gamesの独創的なデビュー作「Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey」、Oxenfreeを生んだNight School Studioが地獄に落ちた大学生2人の大冒険と飲み比べを描く「Afterparty」など、大量の注目作がEpic Gamesストア対応を果たすことが明らかになりました。

なお、一部のタイトルは12ヶ月の期間限定先行販売となるほか、“The Outer World”についてはEpic GamesストアとWindows Storeの同時発売及び12ヶ月の先行販売を予定しているとのこと。

また、“The Division 2”販売の成功に伴うEpic GamesとUbisoftの提携延長がアナウンスされ、今後もさらなるUbisoftタイトルがEpic Gamesストア対応を果たすことが判明しています。

Our partners at @EpicGames have announced that #TheOuterWorlds will be coming to the Epic Games Store at launch, alongside the Windows Store. It will be released on other digital platforms 12 months later.

The Outer Worlds will still release on XBOX and PS4 on launch.
