昨年、Infinite Fallの傑作アドベンチャー“Night in the Woods”が最優秀賞に選ばれた“Independent Games Festival”ですが、昨晩「2019 Independent Games Festival」の部門別ファイナリストがアナウンスされ、あのPapers, Pleaseを生んだLucas Pope氏の新たな傑作「Return of the Obra Dinn」が最優秀賞であるSeumas McNally Grand Prizeを含む5部門選出で最多ノミネートを果たしたことが明らかになりました。

1日の冒険が1分で終わる独創的なRPG「Minit」や錬金術をテーマにした傑作パズル「Opus Magnum」、2Dローグライトアクション「Noita」、90年代のネット文化を描く期待作「Hypnospace Outlaw」、アイロニカルな盗撮シム「Do Not Feed the Monkeys」が最優秀賞に選出され、「What the Golf?」や「Nth Dimension[al] Hiking」といった期待作、そしてWadjet Eyeの傑作アドベンチャー「Unavowed」といった素晴らしいタイトルが並んだ部門別ノミネート作品のラインアップは以下からご確認下さい。

なお、GDC Awardsに先駆けてサンフランシスコのMoscone Convention Centerで開催される今年のIGF授賞式は、2019年3月20日PT午後6時30分（日本時間の3月21日午前10時30分）に開幕する予定となっています。
