先日、部門別のユーザー投票が実施されたイギリスの歴史あるビデオゲームアワード「Golden Joystick Awards 2021」ですが、昨晩2時間半に及ぶオンライン授賞式が開催され、Capcomの人気シリーズ最新作「Resident Evil Village」（バイオハザード ヴィレッジ）が総合GOTYとベストオーディオを含む2部門を受賞しました。

また、ビデオゲーム誕生50年を祝い新設されたカテゴリー“Ultimate Game of All Time”と“Best Gaming Hardware of All Time”には、フロム・ソフトウェアの傑作「Dark Souls」と“PC”が選出され、同じくフロム・ソフトウェアの新作「Elden Ring」が最も期待される作品に選ばれました。
