昨年、フロム・ソフトウェアの“ELDEN RING”がGOTYを獲得した“GDC Awards”ですが、新たにGDCを運営するInformaが公式サイトを更新し、「Game Developers Choice Awards」の部門別ノミネート作品をアナウンス。シリーズ最新作「ゼルダの伝説 ティアーズ オブ ザ キングダム」とLarian Studiosの傑作CRPG「バルダーズ・ゲート3」がGOTYを含む7部門で最多ノミネートを果たしたことが明らかになりました。

LIMBOやINSIDEを生んだJeppe Carlsen氏の新たな傑作「COCOON」が5部門、Insomniac Gamesの「Marvel’s Spider-Man 2」とカナダに移住したインド人家族の物語を描いた「Venba」、Tango Gameworksのリズムアクションゲーム「Hi-Fi RUSH」が4部門、高い評価を獲得したRemedy Entertainmentのシリーズ最新作「Alan Wake II」とクトゥルフ系漁業アドベンチャー「Dredge」が3部門ノミネートを果たした各部門賞のラインアップは以下からご確認下さい。
