昨年はCart LifeやKentucky Route Zero、Gone Home、Hotline Miamiなど、近年ますます豊かな成熟を見せつつあるインディータイトルを象徴する作品が多くの選出されたお馴染みインディータイトルと開発者達の祭典“Independent Games Festival”ですが、新たに今年で第16回目の開催を迎える「IGF 2014」の部門別ファイナリストが本日発表され、素晴らしいアイデアとビジュアル、タイポグラフィに満ちた独創的なテキストアドベンチャー「DEVICE 6」（4部門ノミネート）や、シンプルなビジュアルと入国審査をテーマに優れたナラティブを提示した「Papers, Please」（4部門）、可愛らしいクレイアニメーションとミュージカルを特色とするアドベンチャー「Dominique Pamplemousse in “It’s All Over Once the Fat Lady Sings!”」（4部門）といった注目作が最優秀賞Seumas McNally Grand Prizeを含む、複数の部門に選出されました。

Amanitaの新作“Samorost3”や、Stoicの“The Banner Saga”、お馴染み“The Stanley Parable”といった注目作も並ぶ今年の部門別ノミネートと、Seumas McNally Grand Prizeに選出された6作品の参考映像は以下からご確認下さい。
