先日、PS4とXbox One、Nintendo Switch、PC/Mac/Linux向けのデジタル製品版ローンチが2018年8月7日に決定したMotion Twinの傑作アクション「Dead Cells」ですが、新たにビデオゲーム関連の書籍を専門に手掛けるフランスのThird EditionsとMotion Twinが提携を発表し、本作のメイキングとアートワークを収録する書籍「The Heart of Dead Cells」を発売することが明らかになりました。

“The Heart of Dead Cells”は、内容の半分をメイキング、残りの半分をアートブックに充てる新シリーズの第1弾書籍で、8月23日にフランス語版と英語版の予約受付が開始されるとのこと。（発売はフランス語版が先行）

“Dead Cells”は、ローグヴァニアと銘打ったハック＆スラッシュ色の強いプラットフォーマーアクションで、パーマデスを含むリプレイ性の高いプログレッションやノンリニアな進行、多くのシークレットが用意されたロケーションの探索、多彩なプレイスタイルをもたらす大量の武器、格闘ゲームのような戦闘といった要素を特色としています。
