先ほど、Papers, Pleaseが席捲した“IGF 2014”の受賞結果をご紹介しましたが、IGFに続いて「GDC Awards 2014」の授賞式が開催され、昨年末から続く数々の賞レースを席捲しているNaughty Dogの“The Last of Us”がGOTYを含む3部門を受賞しました。

なお、今年の部門賞は程よく多様な作品が受賞を果たしており、IGFを席捲した“Papers, Please”がイノベーション賞を含む2部門、“BioShock Infinite”がビジュアルアート部門を含む2部門、“Grand Theft Auto V”が技術賞を獲得し、ベストデビュー賞にGone Homeを生んだ“The Fullbright Company”が選出されるなど、2013年の豊作振りを象徴する作品が並ぶ結果となっています。
